Kailyn Williams is one tall order at Xavier Prep. She had the game of games in a win over St. Mary's.
The 6'5" Williams scored 22 points, grabbed 24 rebounds and blocked 10 shots.
Coach Curtis Lawrence says Williams is well-versed in the art of shot blocking: "She's a defensive force. She knows how to use her body well when she is blocking shots."
Williams is a quiet type, but her game translates to college basketball, where she has signed withBethune-Cookman. But first, Williams would like Xavier Prep to make a big run in the playoffs.
"It's not about always getting mad at each other," Williams says. "We actually have fun on the court, unlike some teams we have played. They really fuss at each other for no reason."
