Attorney General Michael Mukasey was hospitalized Nov. 20 during a late-night speech in Washington, D.C. and lost consciousness. "The attorney general is conscious, conversant and alert," Justice Department spokesman Peter Carr said after doctors admitted Mukasey to George Washington University Hospital for the night.
